Online Lessons
If Bryan isn’t coming to your city, you can still take advantage of a lesson with him. Online Trumpet Lessons via webcam are now available.
How Does It Work?
- Check Bryan’s schedule and email to set up a lesson time
- Make your credit/debit card payment before the lesson. Payments are securely handled by PayPal. Prepayment links are on the Store page.
- Login to Skype™ by the agreed time and Bryan will initiate the video chat.
Technical Requirements
- A computer (Mac or PC – it doesn’t matter)
- A high-speed / broadband internet connection
- A webcam
- A microphone and headphones/speakers
- Skype™ software and username.
- Your trumpet and any mouthpieces you are using
Prices
- First lesson – $75 (75 minutes – includes setup/soundcheck time)
- Subsequent lessons – $75 per hour/$37.50 per half hour
Notes
Skype is recommended for these online lessons because of it’s widespread use and availability for all platforms. Mac users may prefer to use iChat™ instead. If this is your preference, please inform Bryan at time of booking.
Students are encouraged to record their lessons, whether online or in-person, for future reference. Bryan Davis makes a policy of recording all online lessons. The recording is subsequently made available to students for download. Sharing of recorded lessons by any means, online or off-, is prohibited without Bryan Davis’ express permission.
Disclaimer: Bryan’s primary language is English. He also speaks a little German. If your command of English is not at least reasonably fluent then these online lessons may not be useful to you.
